Education and health care are the focus of the 29th annual Rudolph Canzater Memorial Classic Weekend scheduled for Aug. 1-4 in Santee.

The back-to-school bash takes place on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5-7 p.m. and is open to the community.

The event includes backpack and school supply giveaways, free haircuts, games, music and food.

Another community event is the Ollie Johnson I-95 Health Fair, which takes place on Friday, Aug. 2 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This event features free health screenings and vendors with health-related services.

On Saturday, Aug. 3, Emily Clyburn's Ladies Luncheon will be held for friends and family who don’t play golf.
